Winter Wonderland Weddings

Christmas Weddings, winter wonderland wedding

Are you thinking of having a winter wonderland wedding? If so read on and find out why I love winter weddings

The Decor

There are so many possibilities for creating a stunning winter wedding, think christmas trees, fairy lights, gorgeous greenery, rich colours, berries and stunning red hues. Or you could go for an all foliage and white pallete with rustic touches from wood and pine cones. Golds, silvers, candles, vintage cut class wine decanters. Magical.

The Outfits

Think Cute Fur Coats, feather capes, here are some pictures to inspire you and show you how beautifully you can accessorise your dress and keep warm at your winter wedding.

The Winter Light

Don't let the worry of dull light put you off, can you believe the picture at the very top of this post was taken in between Christmas and New Year. The winter can bring a beautiful soft light which is less harsh and more flattering, with earlier sunsets bringing the golden hour glow forward so it coincides with portrait time.

But even if you don't get a magical golden sunset at your wedding don't worry, photographers love gloomy skies too and even rain can be styled out. Dramatic skies, fogs and mists can create some magical pictures.

Sparklers, Fairy Lights, Real Fires etc

Sparklers, fairy lights, real fires, fire pits, marshmallows, toffee apples, hot mulled beverages, bringing all the cosy feels to your winter wonderland wedding. What's not to love?
